CERT Final Exercise
Date: Saturday, February 18, 2017
Time: 11:00 am — 5:00 pm
Where: Monrovia Fire Station 102 (S. Myrtle, next to Public Storage)
Misc: Lunch provided. Volunteers to act as victims of an earthquake. They will be made up in moulage (fake injuries & blood) and positioned inside or outside buildings on the fire station grounds for the trainees to practice their search & rescue, triage, patient transport and emergency medical skills. Some makeup/moulage can stain so they should dress in something they don't mind getting damaged but remember they will be laying in awkward positions in possibly dirty areas and being examined/carried by strangers so please dress for the occasion. If they have issues with confined places, asthma, or latex allergies, I need to know so we can put them in an outside location or make sure their moulage does not include prosthetics. Inside locations will be dusty and most likely have fog to reduce visibility.
